I’m in my final year of a BA in TV Production and Radio. I’ve helped on a few student shoots, doing camera, set design, and general support, and I organised ticketing and front-of-house for the Ayrshire College Film Festival in 2022. I’m good at listening, getting things done quickly, and staying calm when things get busy. I notice what needs to be done, whether it’s printing call sheets, grabbing coffee, restocking paper, or just keeping the workspace tidy, and I don’t need to be told twice. I have also shadowed BBC professional camera operators at the Karen Dunbar live at Ayr Town learning key skills there while also being a runner for them. I love sporting events in all its different forms and I’m ready to put in the work, turn up on time, and learn everything I can from the ground up.
On my website (checkmateproduction.co.uk) is my portfolio of still photography and videography that I have done over the years.
